Chawton Cottage Writing Desk

This lovely wooden slant-top writing desk is evocative of Jane’s traveling writing desk.  With an authentic feel, this handcrafted desk is roomy enough within to store your writing paraphernalia, and has some useful holders on the exterior as well: a taper candle holder, a pen rest, and even a home for your inkwell!  A square, brass inkwell is included, as well as ink powder and a quill pen.  (Candle not included, but any standard taper works well)

Desk measures 12 x 15”.  Hinged lid.  Handcrafted from teak and mango woods.  Imported.
