This stunning replica bracelet is recreated from an original owned by Jane Austen, believed to have been given to her by her brother Francis when he got back from a voyage to the West Indies in 1805. It is one of only 3 pieces of jewelry known to have belonged to Jane, and is currently on display at the Jane Austen House Museum. We are happy to offer this lovely replica in the original Gold design as well as Silver for those of you who would like to match it to your silver jewelry!
Created of fine glass beads in brilliant turquoise, white, and gold, and finished with an elegant gold-filled filigree clasp, this is a very close reproduction of the original. Each bracelet takes up to 8 hours to handcraft, and is a beautiful piece of workmanship. Shows to beautiful advantage when worn over white gloves to an evening event, or as a highly unique modern jewelry piece.
Available in 2 sizes, Small and Regular, and also in your choice of Gold or Silver. Regular bracelet measures just under 8 1/4” long, Small measures just under 7 1/2 inches long. There is a 1/4” overlap when closed. Presented in a gorgeous red and gold faux leather bracelet box with a white satin interior, perfect for gifting. (Picture of original bracelet has a pure white background, replica shown on lace background.)
